Details Work in the PACU unit of a Level I Trauma teaching hospital Adult and pediatric patient population 1:2 patient ratio Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours (11:00-23:30) On-call requirements include 2 weekday on-call shifts and 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift within a 6-week schedule, plus 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday Possible floating to Tabor GI or Pain Center if needed Uses Cerner Aecis Surgi Net charting system Scrubs provided Requirements Active RN license (PA license or compact) required at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Minimum 2 years of critical care or PACU experience required Level I Trauma experience required ICU background required Teaching hospital experience required SICU, MICU, and CTICU experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration Additional Information Provide perianesthesia nursing care to adult and peds surgical patients Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate differential eligibility RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO requested after submission will not be accepted Block scheduling cannot be accommodated First-time travelers are welcome to apply Pass/Fail clinical exam required for clearance with up to 3 attempts allowed American Traveler Job ID P-749995.
