**Job Title: Automotive General Service Technician**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive General Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair services on a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a passion for the automotive industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine the appropriate repair solutions.
- Carry out basic repairs on various vehicle systems such as ignition, suspension, and cooling systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, maintenance plans, and repair timelines.
- Uphold safety standards by ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Continuously update knowledge of automotive technology and repair techniques by participating in training and professional development opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education in automotive technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to non-technical individuals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
