HOUSING MANAGER

Housing Manager Union Springs Housing Authority is seeking applications for a housing manager. Nature of Work This is a responsible position for which the successful candidate will have experience with the full spectrum of on‑site property management and be responsible for approximately 150 units of project based voucher units, including operations functions, management, leasing, lease enforcement, rent collections, and conducting annual and interim re‑examinations of income and family composition. The managed propertyis inMidway and Union Springs, Alabama. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience in the administration of assisted housing. Substitution: High School Diploma plus extensive demonstrated experience working with assisted housing or public housing programs; Demonstrated knowledge of public housing regulations principles and practices. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to motivate others toward a common goal/objective as well as the ability to analyze complex situations and problems, and arrive at regulation of same.
