Job Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3 shifts per week.

Assignment Details

Contract lengths of 13 weeks or longer with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar unit with knowledge of patient ratios and acuity.
• Experience with IV starts and telemetry, pre and post-procedure care for cardiac patients, and administering cardiac drips.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.
• Comfortable working with up to 6 patients and the ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide stable pre/post care for cardiac procedures and manage patients on cardiac drips.
• Monitor patients with unstable angina, chest pain, heart failure, and dysrhythmias.
• Run multiple drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
• Assist with admissions and discharges while managing patient assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Compliance / Notes

Travelers must be available for a 36-hour orientation week. RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for auto offers, and there is no block scheduling. Dress code includes navy or white scrubs, and jackets should match in material and color.
