The Job Senior Director, Leadership Development – Define and own the future of leadership development at VEG. Build pathways and infrastructure that create strong leaders, elevate the bar, and develop leaders across the organization. Work in partnership with Operations and Talent & People teams to shape what great leadership looks like at VEG and implement the infrastructure across our hospitals in a high‑growth environment. What You’ll Do Strategic Planning: Shape and continuously evolve the long‑term vision for leadership development to stay ahead of VEG’s growth and an ever‑changing business landscape. VEG Learning Ecosystem: Serve as a strategic partner to the business to build a seamless, scalable learning environment that drives growth at every level. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships to ensure leadership programs reflect real hospital needs and support VEG’s strategic priorities. Team Leadership: Build, coach, and inspire a high‑performing, creative, and collaborative team while holding them to a high bar. Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth, scalable delivery of leadership development across hospitals – fully integrated with existing learning systems and aligned with business priorities and OKRs. Data and Insights: Measure what matters and enable the team to use metrics and feedback to elevate leadership development and tell its story. What You Need 15+ years of progressive experience in business, education, human resources, or related fields, with a strong focus on leadership development, organizational development, or learning strategy. 8+ years of senior‑level experience leading high‑performing teams and owning the design and delivery of scalable, high‑impact leadership programs. Experience in founder‑led, high‑growth, or multi‑site environments (preferred). Expertise in building role‑specific learning journeys across diverse leadership populations. Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach, able to shift seamlessly between high‑level thinking and execution in a fast‑paced environment. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a history of partnering with operations leaders, executives, and cross‑functional teams. Strong analytical and data skills; ability to define and use metrics to drive insights and performance (Excel/Google Sheets required; Tableau preferred). Expertise in adult learning theory, leadership assessment, and experiential learning models (preferred). Outstanding facilitation and communication skills, both live and virtual formats. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in education, organizational design, business, or a related field is a plus. Ability to work from our White Plains, NY office four days per week.
