Your role and responsibilities Create demand and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts, territories, and offering portfolios. Engage and qualify prospective clients through phone, email, social media, video outreach, events, marketing programs, and other digital selling channels. Develop and maintain an active pipeline by uncovering expansion opportunities, renewals, upgrades, modernization needs, and customer lifetime value opportunities. Participate in discovery conversations to understand customer business objectives, priorities, challenges, success criteria, and buying needs. Position IBM value propositions as a trusted advisor by aligning brand offerings to customer goals, industry trends, and measurable business outcomes. Collaborate with Technology Sellers, Technical Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Business Partners, Marketing, and Ecosystem teams to progress opportunities and support successful deal execution. Communicate IBM technology value clearly to business and technical stakeholders through presentations, proposals, account plans, and business storytelling. Use digital and AI-powered sales techniques, customer data, market insights, and contemporary offering knowledge to improve engagement strategies and achieve strategic brand outcomes.
