Structural Welder - MIG/Flux Core

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $25+/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM (hours may fluctuate based on shipping schedules)

HireCall is seeking an experienced Structural Welder for a manufacturing opportunity in Tulsa, OK. This position involves fabricating and welding structural steel components used in the construction of meter houses for the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidate has strong MIG and Flux Core welding experience, can independently read blueprints, and is comfortable fitting, fabricating, and troubleshooting structural assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately lay out structural components.
• Measure, cut, prepare, fit, and weld materials according to project requirements.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel.
• Fabricate and fit structural skids and other steel assemblies.
• Work with steel siding and R-panel materials.
• Identify and resolve fabrication or fitting issues.
• Adapt to design changes and production requirements as needed.
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the fabrication process.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding required.
• Must be able to pass a 3G plate welding test using a MIG/Flux Core combination on 3/4-inch plate without run-off tabs.
• Ability to independently read blueprints and lay out materials to specifications.
• Strong measuring, cutting, fitting, and fabrication skills.
• Experience fitting structural skids and solving fabrication challenges.
• Experience building meter houses, house packages, or steel buildings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adjust to changing production needs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
