Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for Cardiac Cath Lab with 2+ years of cath/EP lab experience required and a compact or TN RN license.

Details

• Work in an 11-procedure-room Cardiac Cath Lab unit (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR) within a hospital setting
• Staffed with Cath/EP Techs and Cath/EP RNs at a 1 patient to 3 staff ratio
• Uses GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, and Merge Hemo equipment
• Documentation performed in Merge Hemo and Meditech
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Floating limited to prep and recovery areas only
• Perform diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomy, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra procedures in the cath lab
• Perform EP studies, pacemaker and ICD placements, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and lead extractions including laser lead extractions in the EP lab

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience required
• Required to circulate and monitor cath lab and/or EP procedures
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Monitor and circulate cardiac cath lab and EP procedures as part of a specialized cardiac care team
• Required to wear scrubs as part of the dress code
• Part of one of the top Cardiac programs in Tennessee, offering all cardiac modalities except transplant
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
