Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Day/Evening Ashland Health Services Position Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing care for residents and patients in a full‑time day/evening shift. Compensation up to $35.50 per hour. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Provide nursing care as a licensed caregiver, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the care plan for assigned residents and patients. Adhere to the standards of care, maintain a safe environment and supervise nursing assistant activities. Follow all Center policies, procedures and the State Nurse Practice Act. Assume responsibility and accountability for residents and patients during shifts under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. Qualifications Licensed in the state as an LPN. Current CPR certification. Proficient with supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.). Ability to calculate drug dosage. Meets all health requirements imposed by law. Strong communication skills with residents, families, volunteers and staff. English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding proficiency; basic computer literacy. Benefits Health insurance for full‑time employees (effective first of month following 30 days).
