Usher – Event-Based Scheduling $15 hourly Position Summary: The Orpheum Theater is seeking friendly, reliable Ushers to provide an exceptional guest experience during live events. This is a flexible, event-based role where team members select shifts based on their availability and the theater's event schedule. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner Scan tickets and assist with entry Escort patrons to their seats and provide directional assistance Answer guest questions regarding the venue, seating, and event details Monitor assigned areas to ensure guest safety and comfort Assist with crowd flow before, during, and after events Provide general support to front-of-house operations as needed Scheduling & Expectations: This is a flexible, event-based position; shifts are offered based on event needs Team members may accept or decline shifts based on availability Once a shift is accepted, attendance is expected and reliability is essential Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Prior hospitality or event experience is a plus, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
