Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary The Senior Project Engineer works within the Project Management Team responsible for planning and overseeing projects to deliver timely, cost-effective outcomes. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, scheduling, ensuring safety, ethical conduct, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and oversee project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project schedules and budgets. Ensure projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, client correspondence, submittals, and shop drawings. Prepare subcontract scopes and contracts. Oversee project closeout activities. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence related to contract notification provisions. 3+ years of reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and associated technical specifications. 2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts. 2+ years experience with project closeout. 1+ year working with cost-control systems. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
