Job Title: Shipping Associate Job Description

The Shipping Associate ensures products are accurately stored, picked, packed, and prepared for shipment from the warehouse to customer locations. This role uses warehouse systems and various freight platforms to label, meter, and process orders while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. The position operates on a MondayFriday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

• Ensure all products are accurately stored in the warehouse according to established processes and locations.
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipping, following documented procedures and quality standards.
• Label and meter packages using various freight systems to ensure correct routing and on-time delivery.
• Process orders using the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to record, track, and complete shipping transactions.
• Perform daily preparations for the next days shipping activities, including organizing inventory, staging orders, and verifying documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment within the warehouse at all times.
• Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Follow all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies while performing warehouse and shipping activities.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve issues related to inventory, shipping documentation, and order accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and dress code requirements while working on the distribution center floor.

• Experience with inventory handling in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Hands-on experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Ability to use RF scanners for inventory and order processing.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Ability to operate and navigate various freight systems for labeling and metering packages.
• Experience using an ERP system to process and track orders.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate storage, picking, and shipping of products.
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment while following established procedures.
• High School Diploma (HS Diploma) required.

• Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Comfort working with technology, including RF scanners and ERP systems.
• Ability to follow standardized processes related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Strong organizational skills to prepare for upcoming shipping activities and manage multiple tasks.
• Reliability in adhering to a fixed MondayFriday 2:00 PM10:30 PM shift schedule.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support divisional initiatives.

This role is based in a warehouse and distribution center environment, focused on inventory storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations. You will work a consistent MondayFriday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The position involves regular use of RF scanners, an ERP system for order processing, and various freight systems for labeling and metering packages. The facility emphasizes safety and cleanliness, and employees are expected to help maintain an orderly workspace. Dress code requirements include closed-toe shoes and long pants worn at waist level, with shorts not permitted. Hats of any type are prohibited. Hooded sweatshirts are allowed, but hoods must remain down. Tank tops and cutoff shirts are not allowed, and shirts must not display slogans, pictures, words, or images that could be interpreted as offensive. Sunglasses are not permitted on the distribution center floor. The environment is structured, safety-focused, and aligned with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

This is a Contract position based out of Avon, IN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Avon,IN.
