Test Technician_Bench

Job Summary The Test Technician - bench is responsible for performing verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies. Key Responsibilities Perform testing and troubleshooting with basic meters of uninterruptible power systems equipment, such as inverters, rectifiers, chargers, static switches, AC regulators and associated equipment. Basic circuit analysis. Interpret schematics and assembly prints. Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies. Any additional tasks as deemed necessary. Minimum Qualifications At least 5 years’ experience in power electronics, with a technology background and versatile hands‑on skills. Experience with power ranges of 480 VAC 3-phase and 240 VDC. Knowledge of DC/AC principles and electrical language. Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology; Diploma or Certificate in an Electronics program or equivalent experience or military equivalent experience. Desired Qualifications Electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills in soldering (through‑hole and SMT), electro‑mechanical assembly, and proficiency with hand tools. Knowledge in the use of multimeters and other basic instruments; familiarity with mult‑purpose test instruments such as oscilloscopes, component testers, digital test equipment. Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics, and parts lists, and understanding of electronic circuits. Computer literate with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Team player with time‑management skills and ability to multitask with little supervision. Strong verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills. Some knowledge of AC/DC power electronics, willing to work with voltages as high as 480 VAC 3-phase and 240 VDC. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
