Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment.
• Experience with oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices.
• Experience performing oximetry and capnography monitoring.
• Experience performing 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Experience performing pulmonary function studies.
• Experience assisting with respiratory care procedures including bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement.
• Experience with tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes.
• Experience performing arterial puncture.
• BLS and ACLS guidelines proficiency for cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Experience with endotracheal tube insertion and removal via free hand technique and/or video laryngoscope system.
• Experience setting up, testing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring mechanical ventilation equipment.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: 3x12.
• Shift day: Friday.
