Responsibilities

• Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures TAVR CABG robotic surgery lung procedures and more.
• Four PA team supports three talented surgeons.
• Responsibilities include first assist post-op care with ICU management and clinic.
• Monday Friday schedule with 1: 4 call .

Qualifications

• M ust be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred .
• Position-specific knowledge and skills :
• Proficient with s aphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy
• Management of ventilators and critically ill patients
• In - depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications
• Efficient with placement of central line s arterial line s (femoral radial) Swan-Ganz catheter s and chest tube s
• Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license NC DEA and A CLS certification through AHA .
