Veterinary Technician - Emergency

Location & Shift Round Rock, TX. 3 day, 12 hour shift (Sat, Sun, Mon 12pm–12am). Compensation Negotiable based on experience and credentials, starting $23.50–$26/hour, with shift differential. Position Emergency Veterinary Technician – part of Thrive Pet Healthcare. Responsibilities Provide client care and communication. Perform efficient patient assessments and quick response to emergencies. Monitor patients, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, recovery, anesthetic monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and medical math. Ideal Candidate Strong veterinary skills. Ability to handle animals appropriately. Can assist in veterinary medical procedures. Recent experience in a veterinary practice. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Qualifications At least 3 years recent experience in veterinary practice. Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. High school diploma or GED required. Veterinary Technician license preferred. Previous emergency experience preferred but not required.
