Job Description:
- Assist with fleet special projects such as but not limited to, TRANSALT development.
- Monitor and analyze all appropriate aspects of ship performance.
- Support and participate in the organization's Integrated Management System documentation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement by complying with the IMS Policies and procedures and meeting IMS objectives.
- Assist with marine engineering projects such as overhauls and other types of maintenance and repairs.
- Understand overhaul requirements, and the preparation of contract work specifications and cost estimates for repair, overhaul, conversion, or construction of ocean-going ships; or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent level of knowledge of ship operations and maintenance management.
- Regulatory compliance, and vessel management.
