The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Submission to Start Process:

• Recruiter will "Create Match Only." This doesn't count towards OKR until approved.
• Recruiters will then be able to create a Submission Packet using Mergi.
• Recruiter sends off submission to BDM for approval via Outlook email.
• BDM approves or denies, replies to sub email and relays this communication.
• If approved, BDM moves the Match to Submittal through Recruitcare. Sub OKR will now be official.
• Once approved, move to OM ASAP.
• Inform your HCP that they'll receive an Interview Link from Montana State Hospital. Interview links are typically sent out 24-72 hours after submission.
• It is highly recommended by the facility to attend the interview. Please Dress Appropriately and introduce yourself and the HCP, no need to stay for the duration of the interview.
• Make sure that HCP is aware of the Time Zone differences for interview. Please see attached form in Position for Video Interview Etiquette. There is not a second chance for that NEO if an interview is missed.
• Once Interview is complete we wait for offers. Feedback/Offers are typically given about 2-4 weeks before Start Date. Continue Credentialing.
• Once offered, you'll receive an email from BDM for next steps.
• Send out FDI email (Template will be sent by BDM) and Important Candidate Information.
• Send Compliance as Adobe Stitched PDF to BDM as soon as possible.
• Offer HCP Starbucks E-Gift card as a way to build relationships. Confirm travel and housing plans.
