Overview Pediatric Speech Therapist PlayDate Behavioral Interventions, a nonprofit organization based in Colorado Springs, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a pediatric speech therapist, you will play a vital role in providing essential speech and language services to children ages 0-18 with various diagnoses, including autism and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Provide clinical treatment to patients, including screenings, evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans Provide skilled speech therapy services and intervention to pediatric clients, including receptive language, expressive language, articulation, augmentative-alternative communication, fluency, social communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders Provide family/caregiver training and support Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care Provide training and support to non-speech therapy professionals Qualifications Colorado SLP License Special needs experience: 1 year (preferred) Pediatrics experience: 1 year (preferred) SLP experience: 1 year (preferred) Benefits All work hours paid at the same hourly rate (billable, non-billable, training, etc.) Paid ongoing training Culture of collaboration Recognition for your hard work through agency points that you redeem for gift cards Anniversary/Retention Bonuses Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - 5% of medical premium paid by the agency Life Insurance - 100% of premium paid by the agency Paid leave for all employees, regardless of part-time or full-time status Signing Bonus of $2500 Starting salary range: $39-41 per hour with all work hours paid at the same rate, including non-billable and training About Us PlayDate Behavioral Interventions was established to help children with special needs through personalized intervention plans, and we ensure that lack of funding is not a barrier to services.
