Mease Countryside Hospital, part of BayCare Health System, is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role specializes in treating patients with hand and upper extremity conditions as well as neurological disorders, supporting recovery and improving functional independence.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
• Provide specialized interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and custom splinting.
• Treat patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies to support long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with BayCare and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy

Shift Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m./Days
