If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love connecting with people, we'd love to have you on our team.A Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading engaging, safe, and effective classes that motivate members while creating a fun and inclusive environment.Responsibilities:Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.Maintain all mandatory education and certification requirements.Understand and follow all policies and procedures.Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in alignment with the Crunch mission statement.Address member requests or forward them to a manager as needed.Maintain a professional disposition at all times.Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.Attend Crunch Instructor training and deliver classes according to Crunch class format guidelines.Qualifications and Skills:High School Diploma or GED required.1 year of group fitness experience required.Experience leading multi-level exercise classes for participants of all fitness levels.Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.Strong customer service skills.Certifications:General Class Formats: Nationally accredited group fitness certification required (ACE, AFAA, or NASM).Specialty Class Formats (Barre, Group Cycling, Pilates, TRX, Yoga, Zumba, etc.): Valid format-specific certifications recognized and accredited by the organizations above. Crunch does not accept Les Mills, Mossa, Beach Body, Insanity, or other pre-choreographed formats.CPR/AED certification required.Physical Requirements:Must be able to adjust and operate all club equipment.Ability to lift 50 lbs. and engage in physical activity, including lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing/walking.Compensation: $25.00 - $45.00 per hourCrunch Fitness is looking for energetic, enthusiastic people that are passionate about health and fitness to join our team.
