NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Kotzebue, Alaska.

L&D, OB RN

Must Have Requirements:

• ALL OB positions are a mix of Inpatient (majority) and OB. This position will require previous Inpatient experience. It is not an option to only have OB experience.
• Current AK license - will not consider candidates w/out license in hand
• 2+ years recent OB / L&D experience required
• Must be able to read advanced fetal monitoring strips for high risk birth
• Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring certification through an accredited source
• Must be willing to take behavioral health or stable medical patients on the acute care unit if not actively engaged in OB care
• Must have minimum 2 years previous travel RN Experience
• Must be a minimum contract length of 13 weeks with no requested time off
• must be open to floating to MS

• Previous travel and cultural sensitivity
• Housing provided at no cost to traveler (dorm style housing standardly, though occasionally studio apartments open up)
• Flights covered at no cost to traveler
• OB is LDRP/float to inpatient services when no LDRP patients
• We cannot accommodate block scheduling.
• There is no current availability for pet friendly housing.
• Provided housing is shared spaces—so we can only accommodate the RN’s housing needs and no overnight visitors allowed in these units.
• ONLY a Main cabin or coach fare printed receipt will be reimbursable. Do not upgrade ticket until a printed receipt is in hand or it will not be reimbursed.
• No RTO.
• Active AK license in hand before I will interview.
