How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Set up sterile drapes, solutions, instruments, and non-sterile supplies to ensure a safe, efficient surgical environment.

• Hand required instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures and assist with patient transport, positioning, and draping.

• Maintain organized surgical instruments and continuously track counts throughout the procedure to maintain surgical safety.

• Support the overall safety and efficiency of surgical operations from patient setup through procedure completion.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following:

• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Experienced Neurosurgical tech. Complex craniotomies, complex spine deformity cases, Minimally invasive Neurosurgeries, pediatric neuro, and DBS
