Propane Delivery DriverSalary Range $24.00 - $29.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level CDL with Hazmat endorsement Category TransportationThe Propane Delivery Driver position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Teamwork. Making deliveries in all types of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season.If you're dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations.This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Teamwork.Prior gas delivery experience helpfulCDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required.Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditionsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customersFlexibility to work outside of basic job descriptionExcellent customer service skillsDesire to succeed and advance in a team environmentSkills & Experience:Pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager.Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsementMinimum 2-year CDL license.Employees must be capable of frequently lifting 50 poundsWorking Conditions:Driving a company vehicle. This job operates in the field, and you will be entering the customers' homes and/or place of business. Working in hot attics or cold places must always provide an excellent and positive attitude toward the customer. While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee is occasionally exposed to small working spaces, fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions due to weather.
