This travel assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The Registered Nurse ICU plans, coordinates and implements patient care for the age-appropriate population on the assigned unit. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and implement ICU patient care for the assigned age population.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor responses, and manage ICU devices as appropriate.
- Ensure care is delivered safely and efficiently, consistent with unit standards of care; document and communicate outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families; liaise with physicians, nurses and other team members; maintain professional conduct.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in California (or active licensure as required by the assignment)
- ICU nursing experience preferred (minimum 1 year recommended)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts; ability to function effectively in an inpatient ICU setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- ADN or BSN in Nursing; BSN preferred
