A leading entertainment company is hiring a Senior Social Video Editor to join their team in a contract, on-site role in Culver City, CA. This position involves overseeing social media content curation, managing the clip creation process, and guiding junior staff to produce high-quality short-form videos for IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X. Senior Social Video Editor Responsibilities: Direct the editorial process by reviewing and providing feedback on social clips to ensure they meet platform standards and engagement goals. Translate creative briefs from Social Managers into task priorities and workflow for the team. Oversee daily clip production, track progress towards targets, and address capacity issues proactively. Operate and optimize AI-powered clipping tools, contributing feedback for performance improvements. Train and develop team members on social best practices, tool usage, and quality standards, conducting calibration sessions regularly. Senior Social Video Editor Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in social media content creation, video editing, or social publishing. Proven expertise in short-form video content across major social media platforms. Experience mentoring or managing junior creative staff. Demonstrated strong project management skills for high-volume, fast-turnaround workflows. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with AI creative tools is a plus.
