Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience in adult echocardiography and stress echo for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Non-invasive cardiology department in a hospital with over 150 beds
• 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call rotates weekly between staff, covering weekday evenings (1600-0730) and full weekends (0730-0730)
• Uses Philips CVx equipment
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• License required if applicable, and must be active
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in echocardiography
• Proficiency in adult echocardiography including stress echocardiography required
• Pediatric and neonatal echocardiography experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform adult echocardiography studies including stress echocardiography
• Must complete hospital required onboarding education prior to first day
• Dress code requires dark grey or pewter scrubs meeting hospital standards
• Candidates must be punctual, detail-oriented, cooperative, flexible, and able to work well in a team
• Local candidates within a 50 mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
