TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must be cleared on float units. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility regarding scheduling. Candidates must have experience with adult and geriatric patient populations. Description: This is a FLOAT POOL POSITION. Candidates should have experience floating to various units including ICU, MS, MS Tele, and PCU. The patient-to-nurse ratio in the ICU is 1:2-3, in PCU is 1:4-5, and in MS/MS Tele is 1:5-6. The unit systems required include Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time. Compliance documents must be submitted promptly as per the deadlines. Candidates will need to fulfill competencies related to accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, and ventilator management. Experience with various critical care scenarios including CVA/acute stroke management and post-neurosurgery management is preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions.
