Off-Premise Sales Consultant Beverage Distribution Company

Location: Northern Nevada, Reno area

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: 70k base + 2% commission & incentives NO CAP!

We are a rapidly growing beverage distribution company in Nevada. We are seeking a highly organized, driven sales executive with a proven track record in the alcohol beverage industry to support a dedicated territory of high-demand, well-educated customers in the off-premise channel. This is an elevated sales role, requiring the highest standards of industry knowledge, including in-depth knowledge of the portfolio and its competitive set. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment. Has extensive sales experience and off-premise account relationship history, including chains, independents, and key retail accounts.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establish daily pre-plans to achieve sales objectives
• Provide consistency in reporting territory results regarding distribution, displays, programming, promotions, features, pricing activity, and account execution
• Report to the SVP of Sales
• Utilize office systems, policies, and procedures
• Manage customer relationships and support in-field supplier interactions
• Support accounts receivable collection efforts within the designated sales territory
• Develop sales presentations utilizing specific guidelines provided by the SVP of Sales
• Serve as the primary sales contact within the assigned sales territory
• Assist with correspondence, document preparation, and special projects
• Provide the Trade department and the SVP of Sales with consistent brand forecasts to support immediate and future product forecasting
• Support a positive and professional employment culture

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the alcohol beverage industry with a dedicated focus in wine and spirits sales concentrated in the off-premise channel
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, order entry and reporting software, and scheduling tools
• Ability to work full-time, with flexibility to less traditional hours and supportive of customer schedules
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills
