Gallion's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is seeking a motivated, dependable cook to join our kitchen team. We are a high-volume, chef-driven restaurant known for classic technique, high-quality ingredients, and elevated hospitality in a refined yet welcoming setting.
Located in the heart of Rosemary Beach, Gallion's offers a sophisticated menu of steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal dishes paired with a thoughtful cocktail and wine program. Our kitchen values consistency, teamwork, and pride in execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
- Follow recipes, plating standards, and chef direction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Assist with prep, stocking, and proper food storage
- Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality
- Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow cooks to support smooth service
Qualifications
- Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
