We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.Job SummaryWe are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work on site at 323 Lowell Street in Andover Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.Key Responsibilities:Acquire quality blood samples through various phlebotomy techniques for patients across all age groups.Ensure accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.Assist in the recovery of patients experiencing adverse reactions and provide rapid response to medical emergencies in the inpatient setting.Communicate effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer happiness.Manage sharps and biohazardous materials following regulatory guidelines to protect the safety of patients and staff.Work fluently with computer programs and systems, and align with HIPAA regulations.Perform other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCompletion of a phlebotomy course preferredLicenses and CredentialsClass D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License (Massachusetts)Additional Job Details (if applicable)Remote TypeOnsiteWork Location323 Lowell StreetScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$20.90 - $25.28/HourlyGrade3At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
