About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession: EP Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: RCIS or RCES or RT(R) (or eligible to sit for the RCIS) Must-Have: Advanced skills in scrubbing for ablations and device implants Ability to monitor and pace ablation cases Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Expectations include working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unit has procedural specialties with a focus on ablations (RF and Cryo), device implants, Watchman, and Micra procedures. There is support available in prep/recovery areas as needed. Call is not required for electrophysiology but can be picked up in the cardiac catheterization lab if desired. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. There are newer procedure rooms and equipment available within the unit. An engaged physician champion is part of the team. This position is designed to build out a team separate from existing staff. The environment is known for a friendly culture, supportive management, and a fast-paced atmosphere. The area offers many outdoor activities, including golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks. There is a local fall festival that adds to the community's charm. Staff members value the collaborative and dynamic nature of the team.
