We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Small Engine Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of small engines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our clients’ outdoor power equipment, Mowers, and machinery running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and technical knowledge are highly valued.

Duties

• Diagnose issues with small engines, power tools, and related equipment using schematics and electrical diagnostics tools
• Perform repairs on engines, including tune-ups, part replacements, and complete overhauls for both gasoline and diesel-powered systems
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections to prevent future breakdowns
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components to identify root causes of malfunctions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively to repair equipment safely and efficiently
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation before returning it to customers
• Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inventory documentation for all work performed

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with small engines or outdoor power equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with Kohler, Kawasaki, and Briggs and Stratton engine repair and repair is highly desirable
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical system layouts
• Ability to lift heavy components safely during manual handling tasks and equipment repairs
• Excellent communication skills .
• Hydraulic Experience with Wheel motors, pumps, and Transaxles, is preferred
