Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: 2 Years of Experience Required License: None Required Certifications: ARDMS RVT, ARDMS VT, CCI RVS Must-Have: - Traveler Experience: Clinic Will Accept First-Time Travelers - Skills: Adult, Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Dialysis Grafts, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Lower Extremity Venous, Peripheral Vascular Resistance, Renal Artery Duplex, Upper Extremity Arterial, Upper Extremity Venous - Professional Knowledge: Isolation Precautions/PPE - Additional Skills: FLO LAB PARKS Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional time off on unit could potentially result in a cancelation. For all techs: The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. A final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Average daily census is 10, with one room designated for use. The shift consists of 40 hours guaranteed over the course of the contract. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday involve floating to neighboring facilities. Wednesday and Thursday will be held at a different clinic. No weekend requirements are necessary. Patient demographics include adults with cardiovascular diagnoses. Specialized equipment includes Philips EPIQ Elite and FLO LAB PARKS.
