Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position available in North Carolina. This role involves delivering high-quality clinical nursing care to critically ill patients within a hospital setting. The successful candidate will function under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director and will utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care, ensuring safety, education, and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts with 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: The role requires competency in patient assessment, care planning, point of care testing, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and patient education. Candidates should be familiar with healthcare standards compliance, safety management, complex problem-solving, and cultural competence. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks for patients with complex needs are essential.
