Learn more at nnmc.com Job Summary: Performs diagnostic mammography/Dexa/ X-ray procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammogram. Participates in CQI activities Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards and extraneous radiation to patients Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure. Qualifications High school graduate; BS degree preferred. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography. Certified in the State of Nevada to practice and administer radiation. One-year mammography experience preferred. Current BLS certification.
