Job Position: School Social Worker
Location: Wayne, MI 48184
Pay Rate: W2, hourly; starting at $50/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:Looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? Birch Agency is seeking a School Social Worker to support students in a school-based setting. In this role, you will provide counseling and social-emotional support, collaborate with educators and families, contribute to student support planning, and help foster a positive learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.

Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation and case records
Assist in developing strategies that support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success
Connect students and families with school and community resources as needed
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of social-emotional learning and behavioral support practices
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Commitment to supporting student success and well-being
