Responsible for day to day scheduling, monitoring of work flow in a patient registration, processing payments and billing accounts as well as oversight of patient record releases. Acts as a resource to the staff for operational issues and to any other customer who needs assistance. Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

Medical Office Certification Experience Insurance experience

Employee must have proficient use of and accurate data entry and ability to abstract data. Reviews work for accuracy Collaborates with other staff to assure medical record and scheduling is accurate Collects and post payments accurately and balances at the end of the shift Releases medical records and Protected Health Information per protocols and adheres to HIPAA Communicates with patients and clinic staff to ensure proper paperwork is available for the office visit. Monitors use of hospital resources. Assists with ensuring supplies are available. Ensures excellence of service in all clinics where employee is assigned to work Uses software programs needed to complete registration and process requests for medical records.
