/n/nJob Requirements/n

/n
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery / perioperative nursing experience/n
- Level 1 trauma experience required (trauma nurse experience)/n
- Active RN license (Massachusetts RN or multistate compact license preferred)/n
- BLS certification (AHA BLS)/n
- Competency in at least 5 of these services: Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric OR/n
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to adapt to fast-paced surgical environments/n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary surgical teams/n

/n/nResponsibilities/n

/n
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room for a wide range of surgical procedures/n
- Assist and respond to Level 1 trauma cases, ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process/n
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and perioperative staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes/n
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and support quality and safety initiatives/n
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least five specialized surgical services as listed in the requirements/n
- Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing duties, including sterile technique and emergency response/n
