Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,647 - $7,385 Start Date: 9/4/2026 Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: 5 shifts per week Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts, any shift Hours Per Week: 36 Location: Carbondale, Illinois Practice Setting: Teaching hospital with Level II trauma center experience and a collaborative anesthesia department Cases: OB, general surgery, trauma, and additional surgical specialties Job Requirements Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification Active Illinois CRNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required Experience in a hospital-based anesthesia setting preferred Comfort working within a medical direction or care team model Strong clinical skills across a variety of anesthesia cases Excellent communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for patients across a variety of surgical services Manage cases including OB, general surgery, trauma, and other specialty procedures Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams Support safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility standards Apply now to join this CRNA locum tenens opportunity in Carbondale, Illinois and contribute to a high-performing anesthesia team.
