Working as an LMFT at our community health clinic, you will have the flexibility to operate in a hybrid setting, allowing you to balance in-person and remote therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand the needs of clients and craft individualized treatment plans.

  • Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, employing tailored therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth and improve emotional health.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team through regular staff meetings and supervision sessions to discuss strategies, share insights, and improve care delivery.

  • Set therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and continuously monitor their progress towards these goals.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve diverse populations, including adults as well as children and adolescents. Your expertise in working with these groups will enable you to address various challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can openly explore their emotions and experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • Must possess a valid LMFT license in the state of New Jersey.
  • \n
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • \n
  • Experience providing therapy to both adult and child/adolescent populations is essential.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with individual and couples therapy modalities.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to creating a welcoming therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience utilizing technology for teletherapy, as well as familiarity with digital records software.
  • \n
  • Background in community health settings or knowledge of resources available in the Paterson area.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, combining remote and in-office therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 101,000 annually, plus bonuses based on productivity. In addition to a lucrative salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
