Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a full-time Senior Sales Associate for our retail store, specializing in band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and music lessons. In this role, you will lead sales efforts, deliver exceptional customer service, and support students, parents, and educators in finding the right instruments and services. You'll manage rental program activities, promote private lessons, assist with merchandising and inventory, and help train junior associates. This position is ideal for a motivated retail professional with a passion for music and a desire to support music education in the community.

Responsibilities

• Drive retail sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons to meet or exceed store targets
• Provide expert product recommendations to students, parents, and educators
• Support rental programs, including setup, paperwork, and customer education
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain long-term client relationships
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation
• Promote music lessons and educational programs to increase enrollments
• Collaborate with school service representatives and local educators
• Process transactions accurately and follow all company policies and procedures
• Help train and mentor junior sales associates
• Support events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives
