Apply now! $17.00 - $21.00/Hour 1st Shift 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Digital Press Operator Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain digital presses to produce print jobs according to specifications - Review job tickets and verify materials, file accuracy, and finishing requirements before production - Set up press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment - Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise - Perform routine press maintenance and request service as needed - Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow - Maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance - Ensure compliance with production schedules and deadlines - Inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance - Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area - Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste Requirements For Digital Press Operator: - Proficiency with digital presses (e.g., HP Indigo, Canon, Xerox, or similar) - Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation - Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills - Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications - High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work - Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended period IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
