HR Business Partner- Ashland, VA

Overview

Join Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. as a hands-on HR Business Partner to support 2nd shift operations (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) in our Ashland, VA manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to translate business needs into effective HR actions
• Coach and support managers on performance, employee relations, and corrective action
• Solve workforce challenges and drive practical, scalable solutions
• Collaborate with corporate HR teams to align local execution with enterprise strategy
• Execute core HR operations, including payroll support, staffing, and compliance
• Recruit and hire exempt and non-exempt talent aligned to business goals
• Build staffing plans to ensure operational continuity
• Develop and deliver training to strengthen workforce capability
• Support onboarding to drive early employee success
• Use data to guide workforce and compensation decisions
• Lead or contribute to HR projects that drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology or related field
• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 or 10+ years of work experience post academics
• 7+ years' experience working in HR
• Ability to cover 2nd-shift hours (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
• HR certification preferred
