Automotive Parts Counter Person
Route 128 Honda – Reading, MA
About the RoleRoute 128 Honda is looking for a motivated Parts Counter Person to join our high-volume, customer-focused team. This role is a key part of our operation, supporting both retail customers and our busy service department with genuine Honda parts and accessories.

What You’ll Do- Assist service technicians and retail customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product recommendations
- Manage parts orders, including special orders and backorders
- Receive, stock, and maintain inventory with accuracy
- Process transactions and complete paperwork efficiently
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized parts department
- Deliver a high level of customer service on every interaction
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts; Honda experience is a bonus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Basic computer skills (CDK or similar system experience is a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience and performance)
