We work hard but have fun doing it and are proud of our commitment to excellence and outstanding guest service.The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food for banquet events, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and adherence to food safety standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Key responsibilities include:Prepare and cook food items according to banquet event orders and standardized recipes.Assist with setup, service, and breakdown of banquet food stations and buffets.Ensure all food is cooked and presented on time and to the company's standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage.Monitor food stock and report any shortages or needs to the chef or supervisor.Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and banquet team to ensure successful event execution.Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food items as needed.Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the brand with pride.Other duties as required.Shamin Hotels is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
