Exciting contract opportunity available for an experienced Occupational Therapist near Norfolk, VA! Make an impact supporting students across multiple campuses by helping them thrive both academically and personally. Collaborate with a passionate team and provide essential OT services to a diverse caseload that spans elementary, middle, and high school settings—including two private day schools. This full-time position begins mid-November and continues through mid-June, offering 37.5 hours per week and the chance to supervise COTAs in the delivery of therapy services.

What we're seeking:

• Valid and active Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience working in schools, with children from early elementary through high school
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites, including private day schools
• Flexibility and organization to manage shifting caseloads and schedules

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document and report progress, maintaining accurate student records
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as assigned
• Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings and consult with educators and parents
• Adjust treatment approaches as needed to provide optimal support to a fluid, division-wide caseload
• Participate in ongoing professional development as required
