This is a 176-bed facility featuring all patient-friendly private rooms. The Surgical Assistant (SA) works as a 1st or 2nd assistant to the surgeon and under the direction and supervision of that surgeon may perform specific significant surgical tasks

Required Qualifications

Surgical Assistant/Surgical First Assistant, OR Experience: 2 years Licenses: SA-SFA-VA Certifications(At least one of the following): CERT-CSFAC, CERT-NBSTSA- CSFA Holidays: Yes On Call: Yes Weekends: Yes Scrub Colors: Navy Blue Booked Travelers for this position will need to be credentialed by both AMN & Sentara teams as required for the privileging access Virginia State License for CSA Required In-Hand to Submit

Preferred Qualifications

Compact RN License In-Hand Previous Travel Experience EPIC EMR
