• What You'll Do Perform mechanical repairs on corrugators, conveyors, die cutters, and other production equipment.

• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• Use hand tools and power tools to repair, replace, and adjust machinery components.

• Support troubleshooting efforts involving motors, sensors, 3-phase electrical systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major problems.

• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections within the CMMS maintenance system.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all workplace safety standards.

• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently.

• ✅ What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for troubleshooting equipment.

• Trade school education, technical training, military mechanical experience, or hands-on experience in maintenance, automotive, HVAC, machining, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.

• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• ⭐ Bonus Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience.

• Experience working with conveyors, corrugators, packaging equipment, or other manufacturing machinery.

• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical troubleshooting, or controls systems.

• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication.

• Manufacturing or production facility experience.

Work Environment You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces corrugated packaging products used by companies across the country. The production floor features modern corrugators, conveyors, die cutters, and automated converting equipment.

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend time on the production floor diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and partnering with operators and maintenance team members to keep production running efficiently. Safety is a top priority, and you'll receive training on industry best practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and preventive maintenance programs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.89 - $28.89/hr.
