This is a rare opportunity to lead the transformation of the accounting and financial reporting function ahead of a potential IPO while partnering directly with executive leadership, investors, auditors, and board stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead all external financial reporting activities, including: Technical accounting research and implementation SOX readiness and internal controls IPO and public-company preparedness initiatives Partner with the CFO and executive leadership team on strategic finance initiatives Build and mentor a high-performing accounting and reporting organization Oversee audit coordination with external auditors and advisors Drive operational excellence, process automation, and reporting scalability Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards Support board presentations, lender reporting, and investor communications Qualifications CPA required 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience Strong SEC reporting and technical accounting background Experience with IPO readiness, public company environments, or PE-backed growth organizations strongly preferred Big 4 public accounting foundation highly desirable Proven leadership in building scalable accounting infrastructure Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Base salary up to $300,000 Equity participation / long-term incentive opportunity 401(k) with company match Relocation assistance to the Nashville metropolitan suburbs including: Franklin Why This Role?
